TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • For horse clients. Please ensure the horse is clean, dry and ready to be treated on arrival to maximise treatment time and efficiency
  • For canine clients, please ensure there is a space available to treat in and there is a lead available.
  • Veterinary Physiotherapists are required to treat under veterinary referral within accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966. Therefore, all clients currently under current veterinary care or are lame must have consent or a referral from their veterinarian prior to their physiotherapy treatment.
  • Cancellation policy: Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to appointment to avoid charges. The client will liable to pay a 100% fee if cancelled 24 hours before or if a no show at appointment. Some circumstance may be wavered i.e. contagious disease or animal illness or if an alternative, mutually agreed time in the week can be arranged.
  • BACS and cash is accepted. Please ensure to pay on the day of appointment or within 7 days of appointment. Fees for later payments after 7 days after appointment will be applied.
  • If you are claiming for physiotherapy treatment from your insurance company you must have a referral from your veterinarian and approval from your insurance company prior to physiotherapy appointment. Appointments will still have to be paid upfront.
  • Privacy Policy: All clients details are strictly bound by client confidentiality law within the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 and the IRVAP code of conduct. Emma Bishop Veterinary Physiotherapy also complies with The General Data Protection Act (GDPR).
  • The right is reserved to refuse physiotherapy treatment if the animal required veterinary attention prior to physiotherapy or if the animal is considered a danger to the physiotherapist.
